Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa at 5896  m /19341 ft. Kilimanjaro is a highlight of most Tanzanian visitors experience as it boosts being among the world’s Seven summits. Hiking to its highest summit { Uhuru Peak 5896 m} is an adventure of a lifetime.
Although Kilimanjaro is regarded as a “ walk up” mountain DO NOT underestimate its risks. The only secret to getting to the top is walking at a sensible pace, keeping yourself warm and hydrated will make all the difference to the summit. There are six established routes to climb Mt Kilimanjaro namely; Marangu, Machame, Lemosho, Shira, Rongai, and Ubwe routes. The routes not only vary in length, cost and scenery. They also have different difficulty levels and different success rates.
